Technical Difficulties Hit AEW Forbidden Door Broadcast on Amazon Prime

Some fans had issues watching the latest AEW pay-per-view.

AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door went down at the O2 Arena in London. The night was full of big matches, but some fans only saw green.

The pay-per-view was $50 to order on Amazon Prime, and the company made a big deal out of that partnership. However, many fans were having issues with the broadcast, because they paid for it and only got a green screen.

Many fans reported that their feed for Forbidden Door resulted in them looking at a green screen instead. While some fans didn’t seem to have this issue, it was enough to alert us to this issue.

When Ringside News polled our followers on X, we discovered that many of our own readers had experienced this issue during the event. We asked during the beginning of the Lights Out match that concluded the pay-per-view from the O2 Arena.

We will have to see if AEW is able to correct this issue in the future. Hopefully, it didn’t ruin fans’ entire broadcast. If anything, it only goes to show that there may still be some bumps to iron out.
