Taz comments on the rumours that EC3 and Bobby Lashley might be on their way to WWE since their contracts with Impact Wrestling have expired. He points out that he likes EC3 a lot, and while his in-ring work is just “okay”, his mic work has taken him to great places in the wrestling business. Taz also says he’d love to see Lashley back in WWE, and a possible matchup with Brock Lesnar would be fantastic.
Taz feels terrible about Paige’s recent injury. He points out that he’s not a fan of dangerous bumps like this from behind where the talent can’t protect themselves. However, Taz doesn’t think Sasha Banks is a dangerous performer at all. Wrestling is a tough, dangerous business and these types of things happen. He hopes that people ease up on their criticisms of Banks, because she probably already feels terrible about this.
Taz likes that WWE made Braun Strowman look like a monster again on RAW last night, however he didn’t like the promo segment that started the show because this made Strowman look like an average guy again. As the show progressed, WWE presented Kurt Angle like a scared little boy and Taz hates how they’ve continuously done this over the last few months. He points out that Angle is a Gold medalist and a WWE Hall of Famer, so he shouldn’t be scared of everyone and everything.
Taz liked The Revival’s promo last night and while he likes their throwback gimmick, he thinks they need to adjust their ring gear because their current gear is not flattering them at all. They’re trying to look like Arn Anderson but they don’t have Arn Anderson’s body. He also thinks that their promo last night is setting them up for the beating of a lifetime from all the legends at next week’s episode of RAW.
