The Taz Show Recap – RAW Analysis, WWE Needs to Protect Strowman Better, Kane Returns, More!

Block 2:

Taz says that while he was watching Kane and Strowman double teaming Roman Reigns he was anxiously waiting for Kane to turn babyface and attack Strowman. He thinks that would have been a pretty cool moment and it would have evened the odds heading into TLC. Additionally, this would have set up the possibility of having Kane versus Strowman in a monster singles bout sometime down the road.

Similar to how Taz hated watching Strowman cut a promo with all the other talents last night, he also disliked how when Strowman entered the ring all his teammates failed to act concerned. Strowman should be a wildcard-type character, and The Miz especially should have acted more scared when the big man entered the ring.

Speaking about the Finn Balor promo last night, Taz says that he had no issue with the camera effects utilized by WWE but he did have an issue with the fact that Balor cut this promo in the middle of the ring. If this was a backstage pre-tape it would have flowed better within the show, but having this occur in the ring felt weird. It also resulted in the live audience being ignored because they had to watch Balor stare into the corner of the ring at the cameraman as he cut the promo.

Taz was confused by the fact that half of the Cruiserweight roster is apparently now protecting and working for Enzo Amore. Just a couple of weeks after the entire roster laid a beatdown on Amore, last night we saw half of them come to his aid to attack Kalisto. He says that he has absolutely no issue with Amore’s heel turn, but there’s no consistency in that storyline at all right now.
