The Taz Show Recap – RAW Analysis, Kalisto’s Cruiserweight Debut, Teasing The Shield’s Reunion, More!

Block 2:

Taz thought Amore’s roast of all the other cruiserweights last night was absolutely hilarious. Amore is so good on the mic that he has the ability to turn heel, while still getting great reactions from the live audiences. He says that WWE has to be careful to protect Kurt Angle’s credibility as a GM because if he continues to give heels like Amore their way, he will lose all credibility.

Kalisto, the newest member of the cruiserweight division debuted to close the show and attacked Amore. This was a great spot for Kalisto, but WWE’s failure to put him in prominent positions leading up to this led to a very mediocre reaction from the WWE Universe.

Taz thinks Kalisto could really benefit from a babyface manager. Managers are so rare now, but certain performers need some help on the mic. If WWE allows Amore and Kalisto to go to war on the mic Amore is going to eat Kalisto alive, so Taz thinks this would be a great spot for WWE to introduce a mouthpiece for Kalisto.

Taz admits to having doubts about Braun Strowman’s in-ring athleticism when he first debuted with the company. Over the last several months Strowman has proven Taz wrong because he has shown the ability to work longer, more advanced matches. Regardless, Taz thinks WWE needs to balance Strowman’s ability to work longer matches with the fact that he should be kept special. He doesn’t think there’s any need for Strowman to be working long, competitive matches every week.
