The Taz Show Recap – No Mercy Analysis, Abusing False Finishes, Why Did Cena & Reigns Shake Hands? More!

Block 3:

Taz was not surprised to see Enzo Amore defeat Neville for the Crusierweight Championship last night. He predicted this Title change last week and although Neville might be superior in the ring, Amore simply has more star power than Neville. Taz actually prefers the ‘Neville’ character over the ‘Enzo Amore’ character, but that doesn’t change the fact that Amore will bring more eyes to 205 Live as the Champion than Neville ever did.

He goes on to say that Amore will be a ‘bumping and selling’ Champion who gets beat up for most of the match, and then finds a way to win at the end of the bout. He thinks this will make for some entertaining television on 205 Live moving forward.

Speaking about the match between Jason Jordan and The Miz, Taz says he was impressed by both men. He was particularly impressed by Jordan’s in-ring work again, but Jordan simply isn’t getting over. He thinks Jordan’s ring gear could use a change, and he thought Jordan’s promo at the end of the match was simply brutal. The content of that promo was terrible, and Jordan’s delivery wasn’t very good either.

Taz thinks Jordan’s character already needs to be re-packaged, or he needs to turn heel right away. WWE is driving down a one way street with Jordan right now, and they’re soon going to reach a point of no return because the WWE Universe is turning on him quickly. However, it’s not too late for Jordan; WWE just needs to make an adjustment to his character as soon as possible.
