Through his career in the wrestling business Taz would ultimately develop very friendly relationships with some wrestling journalists such as Dave Scherer and Mike Johnson. Although he was friendly with these individuals and would often talk with them on the phone, they never discussed any backstage information. Those men are professionals and never put Taz in that position, and Taz would have never agreed to share any information anyways.

Taz thinks WWE has had a good build up to the SummerSlam match between Big Cass and Big Show. Similarly, he thinks the build towards Bray Wyatt versus Finn Balor has been good. He points out that every Superstar can’t be involved in main event angles and matches, but both of these guys should be in Taz’s opinion.

Speaking about tonight’s match between Nia Jax and Sasha Banks, Taz thinks we’ll see Jax emerge victorious and go on to SummerSlam to face Alexa Bliss. He points out that the company is behind Jax right now as an up and coming threat in the RAW Women’s division, so she really needs to come out on top in this match.

Taz says he’s very excited to see the United States Title match between A.J. Styles and Kevin Owens, with Shane McMahon stepping in as special guest referee. He really liked the creativity and the writing behind the in-ring segment featuring all three men last week on Smackdown Live, and he’s sure these three men will put on a great match.
