Tama Tonga isn’t sweating that massive WWE fine after posting footage from a rehearsal — in fact, he’s brushing it off like it’s nothing.
After getting hit with a reported five-figure penalty for posting behind-the-scenes rehearsal footage, Tonga has now broken his silence — and instead of apologizing or sounding frustrated, he made it clear he’s completely unbothered by the situation. Speaking during a live session on TikTok on March 25, 2026, Tonga addressed the fine directly, explaining that he’s already moved on and isn’t letting it affect him.
“It’s all good, it’s all good. It was worth it. I had to go to my happy place. I had to go to the world’s happiest place to get myself smiling again. I think that’s the biggest thing — when we get hit with something, we need to take the hit and keep moving. You can’t let that bring you down, you know?”
Rather than treating it like a setback, Tonga framed the situation as just another moment to deal with and move past — showing zero signs of regret about what happened. He even doubled down on that attitude by joking about being in trouble, suggesting that this kind of situation is nothing new for him.
“Am I in the doghouse? I’ve been in the doghouse my whole life — no getting out of that doghouse. I’m moving through life like I’m in the doghouse always, because I don’t give a…”
The comments come after reports confirmed WWE issued a significant fine due to Tonga sharing rehearsal footage online — something the company keeps tightly controlled to avoid exposing match planning and production details. But if Tonga’s reaction is anything to go by, the punishment hasn’t changed his mindset at all. If anything, he’s owning it — and making it clear he’s not going to let it slow him down.
Do you think Tama Tonga handled this the right way by brushing it off, or should he be taking the situation more seriously after such a big fine? Drop your thoughts below and let us know.
