Talk is Jericho Recap w/ Breezango – Origins of Their Name, Southpaw Regional Wrestling, Jericho’s Recent SD Live Appearance, More!

Breezango inform that they initially became a team basically out of necessity. They were each working with Goldust and R-Truth at the time, and they were basically the butt of every joke. Eventually they moved away from that feud and started trying to come up with creative ways to get themselves over. That’s how the Fashion Police came to be.

They both credit John Cena and Nikki Bella for helping them and making it known that they wanted to help get Breezango over. This is what led to Breeze dressing up as Nikki Bella last year and Cena ended up working with Fandango. They also say that Road Dogg (Brian James) has been a very big help to them on Smackdown Live as of late.

Jericho asks them how they’re able to balance the comedic and in-ring aspects of their characters. They both agree that it has to be a mix of comedy and credible in-ring work. Jericho says that they’re both great in-ring workers, and that’s why they’re able to have so much success with the comedy side of things.

Talking about their recent feud with The Usos, Breeze says that Vince McMahon only told them an hour before showtime that he wanted an ‘entertainment match’. This was a Tag Team Title match which was broadcasting live from Chicago, and they were all very concerned that they were going to get booed out of the building.
