Right after Mina Shirakawa captured the Interim ROH Women’s World Television Championship at Supercard of Honor, fans were hit with a surprise: Syuri is coming to Ring of Honor.

The short teaser aired immediately following the title match and featured a montage of Syuri’s hard-hitting in-ring highlights. While no date or opponent was announced, the message was clear—ROH is leveling up its women’s division.

For those unfamiliar, Syuri isn’t just another debut. She’s a former World of Stardom Champion, widely known for her shoot-style strikes, MMA background, and main-event run as one of Japan’s most dominant female wrestlers.

During her 2022 bout against Utami Hayashishita was hailed as one of the best women’s matches of the decade, earning her international acclaim. She also holds victories over names like Giulia, Mayu Iwatani, and Momo Watanabe, proving she can hang with the best in the world.

With Syuri now headed to ROH and Mina Shirakawa holding gold, all signs point to some serious firepower being added to Tony Khan’s women’s division. Whether it’s a dream match, a title challenge, or something completely unexpected, Syuri’s arrival isn’t something fans—or her future opponents—should take lightly.
