The TNA Tag Team Titles have changed hands — and The Hardys’ battered bodies finally caught up to them.
Matt and Jeff Hardy came into TNA Rebellion already dealing with injuries after being attacked days earlier, but they still stepped into the ring to defend their championships against Brian Myers and Bear Bronson of The System.
The match quickly turned into a fight built around survival. Matt Hardy showed heavy tape on his shoulder and ribs, making it clear he wasn’t at full strength. The System took advantage early, isolating Matt and keeping Jeff from getting involved as they wore the champions down.

That momentum didn’t last. Matt nailed a Twist of Fate, setting Jeff up for a Swanton Bomb that could have ended the match. But before Jeff could finish it, Myers jumped in and attacked him, causing Jeff to crash hard instead of landing clean.
With Matt knocked to the floor and Jeff left alone, The System moved in for the finish. Myers and Bronson double-teamed Jeff and pinned him to seal the victory and take the championships.
The loss marks a major title change, with The System now standing tall as the new TNA Tag Team Champions after capitalizing on The Hardys’ injuries and breaking down the legendary duo.
The Hardys fought through pain to defend their titles, but The System picked the perfect moment to strike and walk away with the gold. Now the question is whether Matt and Jeff can regroup — or if this marks the start of a new era in the TNA tag team division.’
