The fallout from the brutal assault on Syko Stu has taken a serious turn, with his brother Andrew Smith stepping forward to provide an update—and sound the alarm.

Stuart Smith, better known as Syko Stu, is currently stable but remains in critical care following the violent beatdown by Raja Jackson at a KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy event. The attack, which shocked the wrestling world and sparked a full LAPD investigation, left Smith with broken facial bones and severe dental injuries.

Andrew Smith took to Facebook to thank fans for their support while emphasizing the severity of the situation.

“He’s currently stable but in critical care. At this time we’re focused on his recovery and appreciate all the support.”

He also issued a crucial warning to the public after reports surfaced of people creating fake fundraisers in the wake of the attack. According to Andrew, there is no official GoFundMe or crowdfunding effort tied to the family at this time.

“We currently do not have a GoFundMe set up, any links posted are not affiliated with us.”

This message arrives after footage revealed KnokX Pro’s AJ Mana urging Raja Jackson to attack Smith backstage, saying he should “give him his f**king receipt” following a botched in-ring spot. The vicious assault that followed has placed the promotion under intense scrutiny—especially as KnokX Pro is listed among WWE-affiliated training centers.

With the situation growing more serious by the day, the wrestling world continues to rally around Syko Stu—but now with the added caution of avoiding fraudulent donation links.

Should promotions do more to protect talent from this kind of real-world violence? And how should WWE respond to KnokX Pro’s growing controversy? Sound off in the comments below.
