Swerve Strickland made it crystal clear — “Big Pressure” isn’t coming back.
The AEW star responded to a fan on Twitter who begged for the return of his old entrance theme, calling it “one of the best tunes to hit wrestling.” Strickland’s reply was short and final as he simply said, “No.” That was all he needed to say.
Strickland has moved on to a new era — and a new sound. He made his triumphant return at AEW Full Gear 2025 with a brand-new entrance track titled “Hit Different.” The track’s dark, hypnotic vibe caught fans’ attention immediately.
The song was produced by hip-hop icon Raekwon The Chef, a founding member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan. With its razor-sharp lyrics and booming beat, the track feels tailor-made for Strickland’s character.
It’s easy to see why fans wanted “Big Pressure” back — but with Raekwon behind the boards, Strickland’s evolution is undeniable, and so they will just have to accept the fact that the old theme won’t be returning anytime soon.
Do you think Swerve Strickland should’ve kept “Big Pressure,” or is “Hit Different” the upgrade we didn’t know we needed? Sound off in the comments.
