Swerve Strickland is already owning Philadelphia—and he hasn’t even stepped into the ring yet.

Ahead of his AEW World Title match against Jon Moxley at AEW Dynasty, Swerve pulled up to the Wells Fargo Center to take part in a special pre-game moment with the Philadelphia 76ers.

Strickland was the official bell ringer for the Sixers’ April 5 home game against the Minnesota Timberwolves, getting some hometown shine just one night before one of the biggest matches of his AEW career.

AEW tweeted out, “Ahead of his AEW World title match against @JonMoxley at tomorrow night’s #AEWDynasty, @swerveconfident was tonight’s bell ringer for the Philadelphia 76ers game.” Even the Sixers got in on the hype, posting, “He finished the game with the same stats as Joel Embiid and Paul George,” with a slick nod to Swerve’s undefeated night off the court.
