Hulk Hogan might want to stay off social media for a while because Swerve Strickland isn’t letting up. Months after Hogan’s disastrous reception at WWE RAW’s Netflix debut in January 2025, the AEW star took to X/Twitter to drop a savage line aimed directly at the wrestling icon.
“Humiliated, they intuit like Terry getting booed,” Swerve rapped in a video, taking a shot at Hogan’s infamous appearance alongside Jimmy Hart to promote “Real American Beer.” That night, the crowd’s reaction was deafening, drowning out Hogan’s promo and reminding everyone that his past controversies haven’t been forgotten.
Swerve’s diss comes on the heels of Shelton Benjamin ripping Hogan for butchering his name in a recent interview. After Hogan referred to him as “Benjamin Shelton,” Benjamin fired back, tweeting, “Message to @HulkHogan. You lost me forever with your ‘don’t get caught’ …or as you would call it ‘apology’ speech.”
Hogan’s attempts to reclaim his spot in the wrestling world continue to fall flat as his past controversies keep getting thrown back in his face. With Swerve Strickland taking another shot, it’s clear some wounds aren’t healing anytime soon.
