Surprising Challenger Revealed For Title In AEW

You never know what can happen in pro wrestling, and this week was no exception. Hikaru Shida didn’t expect for a return to take place following her successful AEW Women’s World Title defense this week, but it certainly did.

Hikaru Shida was able to defeat Anna Jay this week on AEW Dynamite. Then Abadon, who was previously injured, made her return. The terrifying Abadon then laid claim to the AEW Women’s World Title by licking it.

Abadon was put out of action with an injury after a botched spot saw Tay Conti nail her in the throat with a sharp elbow shot. Now Abadon is back, and she’s getting a huge focus.

Hikaru Shida looked plenty shocked to see Abadon return, and now it appears that the Living Dead Girl is on her way to an AEW Women’s World Title opportunity.
