“Stone Cold” Steve Austin may be one of the most legendary names in WWE history, but don’t expect him to have the inside scoop on the company’s new era under TKO. The Texas Rattlesnake made it clear that while he’s got no bad blood with anyone, he’s just not in the loop these days.

Speaking with Sports Illustrated’s Zack Heydorn, Austin was asked how his relationship with WWE has changed since Vince McMahon stepped away. His answer? He simply doesn’t keep in touch with anyone regularly. “I don’t know. I haven’t talked to anybody. I don’t really talk to anybody that’s currently wrestling right now anymore,” Austin admitted. “John Cena and I will talk, like once a year, or whatever. I haven’t talked to John in forever.”

That doesn’t mean Austin has cut ties completely. He acknowledged that there are still a couple of people in the office from his era, but overall, WWE has gone through a major transformation. “They’ve cleaned house pretty good, and it’s a new setup. But I can’t speak to any of that because I honestly do not know.”

Despite the lack of contact, Austin made sure to emphasize that there’s no drama. “We’re good. I just don’t know how the day-to-days are going, but I mean, they’re pushing the creative envelope in a whole lot of different directions, and it seems like it’s done good for them, I guess.”
