TNA Genesis just got a massive shake-up. After TNA iMPACT! went off the air on Thursday night, the action didn’t stop. Following Mike Santana’s TNA World Title win over Frankie Kazarian, Nic Nemeth’s music hit and the crowd erupted as he marched toward the ring, seemingly ready to cash in his Call Your Shot Gauntlet trophy.

But before things could escalate into a title match, security stepped in and separated Nemeth and Santana, cutting the tension in the arena short—at least temporarily.

That’s when TNA Director of Authority Santino Marella stepped in to address the situation. In a surprise announcement, he confirmed that Frankie Kazarian will get his rematch against Santana at Genesis—but with a brutal twist: it’ll be a Texas Death Match. As if that wasn’t enough, newly signed authority figure Daria Rae made her first big call by declaring that Nic Nemeth will serve as the special guest referee for the bout.

With Santana on a roll, Kazarian looking for revenge, and Nemeth in a power position, the Genesis main event is now loaded with drama and uncertainty.

Here’s the updated lineup for TNA Genesis 2026, airing Saturday, January 17 from Garland, Texas:
