Steve Maclin isn’t done talking about his departure from TNA Wrestling—and this time, he brought heart to the conversation.

After initially reacting with a bitter, short tweet following his Feast or Fired pink slip on the January 29 episode of TNA iMPACT, Maclin has now taken to social media again, this time with a more reflective tone. The fired briefcase marked his storyline exit—or possibly a real one—and fans have been debating what’s next ever since.

Now, Maclin is giving thanks, naming names, and showing respect to the locker room he’s leaving behind. On February 4, he posted:

*“One of the most bittersweet parts of this industry is that the people you work with you see more than your family. So they become your family.

I want to thank @milanmiracle & TNA for allowing me to say my goodbyes properly. #MACLIN”*

It’s a dramatic shift in tone from the fiery tweet that followed his on-screen firing—one that had fans questioning whether he was really done with the company or if it was just a work. Now, this goodbye feels much more final.

Maclin’s recent run included hard-hitting matches, a run with the TNA World Title, and a gritty character that helped anchor the show during its transitional phases. Whether this is a full exit or just a temporary break remains to be seen—but Maclin is clearly closing a chapter.

Do you think Maclin’s really gone from TNA, or is this setting up a comeback story? Drop your thoughts in the comments and let us know what you think is next for him.
