Maclin was scheduled to address the brutal beatdown he suffered at the hands of the Northern Armory, but he never made it to the ring. The group ambushed him during his entrance and laid into him with another violent assault, cutting off his momentum before he could say a word.

In a chilling repeat of what happened at Rebellion, one of the Northern Armory members once again wrapped a chain around Maclin’s neck and choked him out on the ropes. The visual was almost identical—Maclin flailing and gasping for air as the group stood tall, sending a clear message that they’re far from finished.

But TNA isn’t letting this slide. After the segment, coming back from commercial break, Director of Authority Santino Marella appeared backstage and made it official: Steve Maclin will face Eric Young next week on TNA iMPACT! in a one-on-one match. With the International Title war heating up, this could be Maclin’s shot at revenge—or just another trap.

After retaining the TNA International Championship against Eric Young at Rebellion, Maclin was left vulnerable and alone. And with Eric Young now aligned with Northern Armory, the numbers game is clearly not in Maclin’s favor.
