Steve Blackman was famously known as “The Lethal Weapon” during his memorable WWE run and he parted ways with the company back in 2002. It’s been many years since fans last saw him in WWE, and now he’s addressed the possibility of returning to WWE.

While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Steve Blackman was asked about the idea of making a return to WWE. He said he hasn’t actually discussed it with anyone and it’s not something he’s brought up.

However, Blackman admitted there have been moments where he’s thought it would be fun to go back, possibly have a hardcore match and just get back into the flow of it for the experience. Even then, it’s been close to 20 years since he last did it and despite those passing thoughts, he hasn’t had any conversations with anyone about coming back.

“I haven’t even really discussed anything with anyone. Don’t get me wrong. I mean, there’s times where I thought, oh man, it’d be fun to go back there and do a hardcore match or something like that, and just flow with it, and just to do it again. You know, it’s been 20 years, but I don’t really bring it up. I haven’t talked to anybody about it.”

Steve Blackman was last seen on WWE television during the Raw 15th Anniversary Special on December 10, 2007, where he competed in a battle royal and was eliminated by Flash Funk.

Steve Blackman isn’t really trying to make a WWE comeback, but he’s still a little curious about getting back in the ring, especially for a hardcore match that fits his skills. Whether fans will ever see “The Lethal Weapon” use his martial arts style in WWE again is still up in the air but they’ll still hope it happens one day.
