Stephanie Vaquer Says She Still Misses Booker T’s Iconic Reactions to Devils Kiss Maneuver

Stephanie Vaquer may be thriving on WWE’s main roster, but there’s one thing she says just isn’t the same—Booker T’s wild reactions to her Devil’s Kiss finisher.

Speaking on the Raw Recap Show, Vaquer opened up about how much she misses Booker T hyping up her move back in NXT. Fans came to love Booker’s over-the-top “ah ah ah!” whenever she hit the Devil’s Kiss, and Vaquer admitted it meant a lot to her.

“I really miss Booker T. I really miss… I love Booker T, and I love him because he just did that ‘ah ah ah!’ and people really felt that. In NXT, the crowd always remembered it. Here on the main roster, people remember it too. I love it.”

Vaquer also shared that she enjoys when fans chant along with her countdown during the move’s setup. But Booker’s signature shout made those moments even more special.

“Yeah, I really miss Booker T. Um, I love when people start saying ‘1-2-3’ when I do the move, because I count down. I love when Booker T did ‘ah ah ah’ since it’s a different expression, and people love that—so I like it too.”

Vaquer continues to build her presence on the main roster, but her respect for Booker T and her appreciation of that unique NXT energy clearly hasn’t faded. Fans still remember those moments, and so does she.
