Stephanie Vaquer used International Women’s Day to send a clear message about her former partner El Cuatrero, speaking directly about the legal situation tied to the domestic violence complaint she filed against him.
The post comes after Cuatrero recently spoke publicly about his arrest and time behind bars, insisting he believes he did nothing wrong. Vaquer responded with a message on March 8, 2026, sharing her perspective while encouraging other women who have spoken out about abuse.
The situation between the two wrestlers dates back to March 2023, when Vaquer filed what was described as a “gender violence complaint” against Cuatrero. Authorities arrested him later that month, and he remained in custody until March 7, 2025 before eventually being released.
While Cuatrero has since spoken about his experience and his belief that he is innocent, Vaquer addressed the matter in a message posted to her Instagram Stories on International Women’s Day.
“This Women’s Day, a huge hug to all women, especially those who, like me, spoke up and reported despite fear and threats.”
Vaquer then referenced the fact that her former partner is no longer in custody while making it clear she intends to keep pushing for justice.
“He is still free, but I am still alive and I will keep fighting for the truth and justice until the end.”
Her comments directly referenced the situation involving her ex and served as a reminder that, from her perspective, the fight surrounding the case is not over. The case involving Vaquer and Cuatrero continues to generate discussion throughout the wrestling world as both individuals have now spoken publicly about the situation.
