Just 45 minutes before WWE NXT went live on May 27th, Stephanie Vaquer broke her silence with a sharp message aimed directly at her challenger Jacy Jayne. With the NXT Women’s Championship on the line, Vaquer made it clear that she’s not planning to give up her crown anytime soon.
In a clip posted to WWE’s official Twitter account, the reigning champion didn’t mince words as she addressed Jayne’s shot at dethroning her on tonight’s episode.
“La Primera has not been beaten for this yet, Jacy. You are welcome to try.”
Vaquer is coming off a major win at the Battleground Premium Live Event, where she successfully defended her title against Jordynne Grace. Now, as the fallout from that match carries into tonight’s show, Vaquer’s confidence remains sky-high.
Jayne will have her work cut out for her as she steps into the ring with the dominant champion, and with that kind of energy coming from Vaquer before the show even begins, the pressure is on.
