Stephanie Vaquer made history at WWE NXT Roadblock, and now she’s speaking out for the first time since her monumental victory.
On March 11, Vaquer defeated Giulia in the Winner Takes All main event to win the NXT Women’s Championship while successfully defending her NXT Women’s North American Championship. With this win, she became the first woman to ever hold world titles in WWE, CMLL, and NJPW.
Taking to Twitter/X after the match, Vaquer reflected on the moment, writing: “Hard work always leads to rewards. We made history.”
The match itself was a war, with both women pushing each other to the limit. Despite reports of Giulia dealing with an injury heading into the match, she put up a fight, forcing Vaquer to dig deep before finally securing the victory with a series of stiff kicks and an SBD to seal the win.
As confetti rained down and Roadblock went off the air, Vaquer stood tall as the undisputed queen of NXT’s women’s division. Now, with both championships in her possession, the question is—who will step up next?
