The February 2 episode of WWE RAW was a big show. The Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was full of fans waiting for Royal Rumble fallout, and they got quite a fun championship match.
A Philadelphia Street Fight went down for the WWE Women’s World Title. Stephanie Vaquer put her title on the line against Raquel Rodriguez, and fans were ready for this match. Raquel told Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio that she wanted to do this match by herself, so they left as she got started.
This match had a big fight feel, thanks to the ring introductions from Alicia Taylor. Fans were ready to see Big Sexy and La Primera throw down in a street fight.
Early on in the match, Stephanie Vaquer brought a table into the situation. Then Raquel Rodriguez powerbombed her through the table at ringside. Then they cut to a commercial break.
When we got back, Raquel Rodriguez had control of the match. However, Stephanie Vaquer was able to make a comeback, but Raquel reversed out of a Devil’s Kiss to send Stephanie into the top ropes. Soon enough, Raquel started to fill the ring with steel chairs. This gave Stephanie Vaquer a chance to hit the Devil’s Kiss on some steel chairs before they went to ringside, where she did the move on the steel ring steps as well.
Raquel kept working on Stephanie, but the she couldn’t close the match. The Rodriguez set up a table in the ring and lifted Vaquer up for a move through the table. Then Vaquer came back, but Liv Morgan showed up with the Women’s World Title in her hands. This distraction helped Vaquer send Raquel into a trash can and then Roxanne Perez appeared as she tried to stop Stephanie, but Roxy was put through a table.
Stephanie Vaquer was on the top ripe, and Raquel Rodriguez climbed up to meet her. They battled on the top rope for a bit and then Raquel’s bomb was reversed into a hurricanrana that broke the table. That gave Stephanie Vaquer a chance to nail a corkscrew splash for a clean win to retain the Women’s World Title.
Stephanie Vaquer’s celebration wasn’t a long one. Liv Morgan got in the ring and hit an Oblivion before posing with the Women’s World Title.
