Stephanie Vaquer’s Devil Kiss remains one of the most popular moves in pro wrestling. So much so that other wrestlers have started using it as well and now Vaquer has reacted to other wrestlers emulating the move.
While speaking to Sean Ross Sapp, Stephanie Vaquer was asked about the growing popularity of the Devil’s Kiss and how it feels to see other wrestlers using it to excite crowds.
La Primera made it clear that she loves it and especially enjoyed seeing Rhea Ripley perform the Devil’s Kiss in NXT alongside her, calling it amazing.
“I love it. I love it. Now in NXT with Rhea Ripley, Mami Mamacita Devil’s Kiss was amazing. I love that.”
This past week on NXT Homecoming, Stephanie Vaquer and Rhea Ripley performed the Devil’s Kiss on Fatal Influence and as expected, Booker T gave his over-the-top reaction that fans have come to know and love.
Stephanie Vaquer’s gracious response shows why she’s one of wrestling’s most respected stars. Instead of keeping the Devil’s Kiss as her own signature move, she’s happy to see it evolve and welcomes other wrestlers to add their own style. So we’ll have to see if other WWE stars will end up using the Devil’s Kiss soon enough.
