Steph De Lander is officially getting back into the ring after months of controversy surrounding her departure from TNA Wrestling.
Following her recent exit from the promotion, De Lander confirmed she will wrestle for the first time in nearly two years this weekend. The match will take place at Awesome Championship Wrestling’s Aftershock event on March 14 in Poughkeepsie, New York.
De Lander shared the announcement on social media while reflecting on a major milestone in her life, revealing that her wrestling comeback comes at the same time she and her husband Mance Warner reached another personal goal.
“Five years ago yesterday I moved to the USA from Australia. On the same day five years later, I closed on my big, beautiful dream house that Mance Warner and I got to watch build from the ground up.”
She then confirmed the long-awaited return to the ring after recovering from a serious injury.
“Tomorrow I wrestle for the first time in almost two years after recovering from a serious injury.”
De Lander added a message encouraging others to keep pursuing their goals.
“Fight for your dreams, and your dreams will fight for you! Never forget the grass is greener wherever you water it.”
The upcoming match will see De Lander compete in a triple threat bout against Indi Hartwell and J-Rod for the ACW Women’s Championship.
Her return comes after a turbulent few weeks that included her departure from TNA Wrestling. De Lander previously stated she had been medically cleared to compete following spinal fusion surgery in October 2024, but claimed TNA refused to allow her to wrestle again.
The situation led to both De Lander and her husband Mance Warner leaving the company earlier this month. Just days later, the couple appeared at a GCW event, signaling that their time in the promotion had officially ended.
De Lander has not wrestled since competing in a mixed trios match for TNA in March 2024, meaning Saturday’s match will mark her first in-ring appearance in nearly two years.
ACW Aftershock is scheduled for March 14 at the MJ Nesheiwat Convention Center in Poughkeepsie, New York. The show will also feature appearances from several well-known names including the Hardy Boys, The Righteous, Mike Santana, and Killer Kross. The event will stream on TrillerTV.
