Steph De Lander Addresses Potential AEW Return

After Steph De Lander was released by WWE back in 2022, she competed in the indies and even made a couple of appearances on AEW programming. While she’s currently a TNA star, De Lander has now addressed potentially returning to AEW.

While speaking on her YouTube channel, Steph De Lander talked about her time in AEW. She noted that she wrestled in AEW twice, once on AEW Dark and the other time in Ring of Honor. She noted that while they’re technically different, they feel pretty much the same to her.

“I wrestled in AEW not once but twice—well, technically once on AEW Dark and the second time was Ring of Honor, which is, I guess, same s*** but different s***.”

De Lander added that the experience was a good one overall. As for whether she’d return, she said she is open to it. Steph De Lander explained that she’s willing to go wherever her journey takes her, especially if the money is right.

“I had a good experience. Would I go back? Yeah, maybe. Like, I would go anywhere. I wouldn’t say just anywhere, but wherever my journey leads me and wherever the money takes me is where I’ll be.”

Steph De Lander faced off against Marina Shafir on AEW Dark back in 2023 and then against Willow Nightingale on ROH programming the same here. Therefore, we’ll have to see if she does make her way back to AEW somewhere down the line.
