Hulk Hogan passed away at 71-years-old today, and the entire world mourned. He was a pro wrestling legend, but he was also a mainstay in pop culture.
Many fans have questions right now about how WWE will handle Hulk Hogan’s passing. They are also wondering if there were any plans for him to make a return to the company’s television product, prior to his passing.
Sean Ross Sapp reported on Fightful Select that that as of Hogan’s passing, there were no firm plans to feature Hulk Hogan on WWE TV again.
The went on to clarify that it’s not that they never would have, there just weren’t active plans for Hulk Hogan to make a return to the creative situation again. Sadly, we will never know now that he is no longer with us.
Hulk Hogan is gone, but his legacy will live on forever. Hulk Hogan’s last match in WWE was on August 20, 2006, at SummerSlam, where he defeated Randy Orton. His final match in his wrestling career took place on January 27, 2012, during TNA’s Maximum IMPACT Tour, where he teamed with James Storm and Sting to defeat Bobby Roode, Bully Ray, and Kurt Angle at a house show.
