Tony D’Angelo and Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo met in a confrontation during the April 29 episode of WWE NXT. The two used to be Family, but this week started the beginning of their real feud.

Their exchange added to ongoing issues within their faction. The outcome of the confrontation was certain to shift future storylines for the Shawn Michaels’ led show.

The Don of NXT came out during the show’s first hour. He had a lot to get off his chest, especially when it came to his former associate. Tony D’Angelo started talking about betrayal, and he admitted he didn’t expect for Stacks to turn on him at Stand & Deliver.

Tony D said he always had Stacks’ back in the school yard and the streets, and he said that Stacks always wanted to lead the family. Stacks had his back during many occasions, when Tony was hurt or locked up. He was the Underboss, but he jeopardized the family. Then Stacks waited until the right moment to finally stab Tony in the back.

He said that Luca isn’t answering calls and Rizzo is in hiding. Then Stacks appeared on the big screen. He was standing on a bridge, and nowhere near the NXT Arena. Security stood around the ring as Stacks said that he was sick of following Tony’s orders.

He said that Tony isn’t capable of leading The Family anymore. He had to take the reins himself and put things into place. Stacks said that Tony doesn’t know who he can trust, as security rushed the ring to attack D’Angelo. The Don of NXT was able to fight off the security members as he threatened Stacks one more time to take his shot at the seat.
