Spoiler on WWE Tag Team Return During 3/28 SmackDown

The March 28 episode of WWE SmackDown took place at the O2 in London, England, airing earlier in some regions. While the show will broadcast live on the USA Network tonight, spoilers are available here. The event included an unexpected return.

During the first hour of SmackDown this week, Katana Chance and Kayden Carter came out. They had their club music and fog guns in tow as well. This was quite a surprise to see them, because they’ve been off main roster television for a bit.

The former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions were on hand to take on Piper Niven and Alba Fyre this week. Chelsea Green was by their side as Women’s United States Champion. In the end, Chance and Carter lost to Niven and Fyre.

Katana Chance last appeared on WWE’s main roster television on February 12, 2024, in a WWE Women’s Intercontinental Title Tournament First Round Triple Threat match, where Dakota Kai defeated her and Shayna Baszler. Kayden Carter’s most recent main roster appearance was on December 16, 2024, in another First Round Triple Threat match of the same tournament, where Zoey Stark defeated her and Raquel Rodriguez.

We will have to see how WWE uses Kayden Carter and Katana Chance from this point on. If anything, they certainly received a warm welcome in London.
