WWE will be holding a tournament in order to determine the #1 contender for the WWE Speed Championship and now the participants for the tournament have been revealed.
Cory Hays reports that Candice LeRae, Faby Apache, Lainey Reid, and Xia Brookside will take part in the tournament to decide Sol Ruca’s next challenger for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship at NXT No Mercy next month.
The tournament final will be held on the September 2nd episode of NXT, featuring competitors representing Monday Night RAW, Friday Night SmackDown, NXT, TNA, and AAA.
This tournament shows off WWE’s wide mix of women wrestlers, bringing together international stars like Faby Apache and up-and-comers like Lainey Reid. With talent also coming in from TNA and AAA, it could be one of the most surprising and exciting tournaments of the year.
NXT No Mercy is scheduled for Saturday, September 27, 2025, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. So we’ll have to wait and see who will end up challenging Sol Ruca for WWE Speed Championship, as either four of the competitors would definitely be worthy challengers for Sol Ruca.
