The lineup for tonight’s March 6 episode of WWE SmackDown has received another update, and this time the focus is on the tag team division.

According to WrestleVotes, the teams set to compete in the WWE Tag Team Championship No. 1 Contender’s Tag Team Turmoil match have now been revealed. The bout will determine which team earns the next opportunity to challenge for the WWE Tag Team Titles.

The teams scheduled for the match include Fraxiom, Los Garza, The Wyatt Sicks, Motor City Machine Guns, and the unlikely pairing of Damian Priest and R-Truth.

The Tag Team Turmoil format will see teams enter the match in intervals, with eliminations occurring until only one team remains standing. The winners will secure the next title opportunity in the SmackDown tag team division.

Tonight’s SmackDown from the Moda Center in Portland, Oregon will also feature several major developments as WWE continues building toward WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.

Nick Aldis has confirmed that Randy Orton will kick off the show as he waits to find out whether he will face Drew McIntyre or Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania.

Later in the night, McIntyre will defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against Rhodes in what is expected to headline the broadcast. The result of that match could have direct implications for Orton’s WrestleMania plans.

Carmelo Hayes is also set to hold a United States Championship Open Challenge, though his opponent has not been announced. Meanwhile, Nia Jax and Lash Legend will appear for a championship celebration after capturing the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles.

Rhea Ripley is also expected to confront WWE Women’s Champion Jade Cargill as tensions continue to escalate in the women’s division.

With WrestleMania 42 set for April 18 and April 19 in Las Vegas, tonight’s SmackDown could play a key role in shaping several major storylines heading into WWE’s biggest event of the year.
