WWE fans might want to keep their eyes locked on SmackDown this week—because it looks like Aleister Black is making his return.

As previously reported,  Aleister Black is expected to reappear on Friday Night SmackDown. The timing follows his quiet AEW departure earlier this year and a very noticeable visit to WWE Headquarters that sparked immediate speculation.

For weeks, WWE has been airing cryptic teaser vignettes featuring shadowy figures, unsettling music, and eerie symbols. Insider reports now confirm that Black is the man behind the mystery. One particular vignette aired just before Zelina Vega—Black’s real-life wife—was shown smiling on-screen. Fans picked up on the not-so-subtle clue, and it didn’t go unnoticed that Vega was recently moved to the SmackDown roster.

It’s believed that WWE deliberately held off on Black’s return until after WrestleMania 41 to maximize impact. Now that the dust has settled, all signs point to him making a major statement this Friday night.
