Spoiler: WWE Adds Another Title Match To First RAW Of 2026

WWE wants to give fans a big 2026, because this year has been pretty monumental. Now, fans have another title match waiting for them in the new year.

WWE has added another championship match to the January 5 episode of WWE RAW. In addition to the previously announced title matches, Maxxine Dupri will challenge Becky Lynch for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, giving the card a third championship match as RAW kicks off the new year on Netflix.

Ringside News has full spoilers for the December 22 episode of RAW. That match was set up during the show.

WWE already confirmed that CM Punk will defend the World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker. That same show also revealed a Women’s Tag Team Title match, with the Kabuki Warriors set to defend against Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY. Adding Dupri versus Lynch brings even more focus to the women’s division on a night that is already shaping up to be a major statement show.

With three championship matches now scheduled for the show, WWE wants to really ramp up the first RAW of 2026. Netflix must be happy about this arrangement, and only time will tell if we will kick off next year with a new champion or two.
