TNA Wrestling is pulling no punches for its big move to AMC. The TNA World Championship will be on the line when IMPACT premieres on its new network home on January 15, 2026, live from the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland, Texas.

During the December 7 tapings in El Paso, Texas, the show opened with TNA World Champion Frankie Kazarian addressing the crowd following his title defense against JDC at Final Resolution. His speech was interrupted by Mike Santana, who issued a challenge for the TNA World Title. Initially targeted for Genesis, the title match was soon rescheduled.

After Kazarian retained the title against Bear Bronson during Sunday’s tapings, Santana confronted him again and made it official—the TNA World Championship match would take place during the AMC premiere of IMPACT. The two men later signed the contract, setting the stage for a main event showdown.

The move from AXS TV to AMC marks a new chapter for TNA, and the company is clearly aiming to make an immediate impact with high-stakes matchups and unpredictable moments.
