A TNA star made their shocking return during the latest set of television tapings.
During the TNA television tapings held at Kingston, Rhode Island on July 25th, First Class came out for a new episode of the First Class Penthouse. KC Navarro appeared with a knee injury he re-aggravated at Slammiversary, and it was announced he’ll need surgery for a torn ACL.
AJ Francis told him that, just like in the NFL, it’s “next man up,” and introduced the returning Rich Swann as KC’s replacement. AJ Francis made KC hold the microphone for Swann, which clearly upset him. Swann declared he’s back to turn the company into “TNAJ.”
Francis then officially kicked KC out of First Class, calling him a replacement. KC fired back, but AJ insulted him, saying he’s been carrying 165 pounds of dead weight for nine months.
Francis blamed KC for their recent failures, including Trick Williams’ loss last week, and called him a loser who always brings the group down. Swann then pulled KC’s crutch away, causing him to fall on the ramp. KC eventually got up and left, bringing the segment to a close.
Rich Swann was arrested on June 8, 2024 in Altamonte Springs, Florida, on charges of disorderly public intoxication and causing a disturbance and TNA suspended him. Eventually, Rich Swann parted ways with TNA Wrestling earlier this year, and this was his first appearance under the TNA banner in almost a year.
How do you feel about Rich Swann returning to TNA after almost a year? Sound off in the comments.
