MJF is still the AEW World Champion after Grand Slam Australia— and now he’s going to defend the title against Adam Page at AEW Revolution.
During AEW Grand Slam Australia on February 14, 2026, MJF defended the AEW World Championship against Brody King in the night’s main event. King earned the title shot after squashing MJF weeks earlier, carrying serious momentum into Sydney.
During the match, there were multiple stretches where it felt like King was going to pull off the upset again. But in the end, MJF managed to retain his title after putting down King with a Heatseeker.
Earlier in the night, Adam Page defeated Andrade El Idolo to become the number one contender for the title. That meant he would challenge whoever walked out of Grand Slam Australia as champion.
So right after the main event, Page confronted MJF and signed a contract, confirming that he will challenge the Salt of the Earth for the AEW World Championship at AEW Revolution on March 15, 2026, at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California.
Do you think MJF will walk out of Revolution still champion, or will Adam Page take the title back? Let us know your prediction in the comments below.
