A huge match was made official during the TNA television tapings following the July 24 live broadcast from Kingston, Rhode Island.
During the latest set of TNA tapings for the July 31st episode, Zachary Wentz and Myron Reed defeated Nic and Ryan Nemeth in a solid tag team match. After the loss, the Nemeth brothers grabbed a microphone. Nic revealed they would use their rematch clause to challenge the Hardys for the tag team titles at Emergence.
Ryan then took it to the next level by insulting the local Rhode Island crowd. He mocked the state for not having major sports teams and even made rude comments about the children in attendance.
This led to the appearance of a local hero known as Home Town Man, who came out and demanded an apology. Instead, the Nemeths attacked him and unmasked him in front of the crowd. Security rushed to cover him up, and The Rascalz returned to the ring to chase the Nemeths away.
TNA Emergence will be taking place on August 15 at the Chesapeake Employers Insurance Arena in Baltimore, Maryland and the Nemeths having their rematch with the Hardys at the event will definitely be a must-see bout. We’ll have to see if the Hardys will retain their titles at the show, since they are already set to face Team 3D at Bound for Glory in October.
Do you think the Nemeth brothers will capture the titles at Emergence, or will the Hardys head into Bound for Glory still champions? Sound off in the comments.
