Spoiler: Several Additional Names Spotted in Indianapolis for Royal Rumble Weekend

Royal Rumble weekend is in full swing, and the list of big names spotted in Indianapolis just keeps growing.

According to PWInsider.com, former WWE stars Matt Cardona and Mickie James were both seen at WWE’s hotel on Friday, adding more intrigue to the already stacked event.

Cardona, who is married to WWE United States Champion Chelsea Green, has been vocal about his desire to return to a WWE ring, especially in a Royal Rumble match. However, no reports have surfaced confirming his participation. If he is set for a surprise return, WWE is keeping it under wraps.

Mickie James’ presence is just as interesting. As the wife of SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and a coach on the upcoming WWE LFG series on A&E, she has deep ties to WWE despite her recent run with TNA. James previously made history by entering the Royal Rumble while still holding the Knockouts Championship. Could another surprise be in store?

Jordynne Grace was also spotted at the airport in Indianapolis, though she’s downplaying any speculation. She posted on social media that she’s heading to Texas for her mother’s 50th birthday, but with Grace’s history of keeping secrets before big moments, fans are questioning whether she’s really skipping the Rumble.

Adding to the growing speculation, WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella has also been seen in town ahead of the event. While it’s still unclear if she’s officially part of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, her presence has fans talking.

Bella hasn’t wrestled since her one-night return at the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble, and both she and Brie Bella let their WWE contracts expire in March 2023. However, she has remained close to the company, attending WWE’s Raw on Netflix premiere and dropping cryptic hints about a return.

During a recent interview, Bella played it coy when asked about stepping back into the ring. “Will we ever see the Bella Twins back? Good question. I just may be here looking at my competition soon, so stay tuned.”
