AEW has strengthened its partnership with STARDOM to the point that they have collaborated quite a few times in the past. That is precisely why it comes as no surprise that a major STARDOM star was in attendance for the AEW-ROH Global Wars taping.

As seen during the AEW-ROH Global Wars taping, STARDOM megastar Momo Watanabe was in attendance during the show in Brisbane, Australia. The company made the official announcement as Watanabe was sitting ringside. It is to be noted that this was Watanabe’s debut in ROH, so it was clearly a big deal.

Momo Watanabe previously competed during the NJPW Wrestle Dynasty pay-per-view back in January, where she won the Women’s International Cup and earned her the right to challenge any champion of her choosing.

This is most definitely a huge deal for Momo Watanabe since it could very well mean that she will be making more appearances on ROH television in the coming months and possibly go after the ROH Women’s Title, since she has already proven herself to be one of the best wrestlers in the world.
