Mercedes Moné made her presence known on the January 22 episode of AEW Dynamite, strutting through the backstage area with all four of her championship belts draped over her shoulders. Entering a balloon-filled room for an interview with Renee Paquette, Moné was ready to talk—until Harley Cameron crashed the scene.

Cameron, guitar in hand, broke into an over-the-top song that focused heavily on her own breasts. She then tried to talk her way into a match on the Moné Train, but Moné quickly shut her down, making it clear that Harley hasn’t won a single match and isn’t remotely worthy of a shot.

Despite Moné’s instant rejection, Fightful Select now reports that AEW has bigger plans brewing. According to the report, Mercedes Moné vs. Harley Cameron is the working plan for AEW Grand Slam later this year.

“As indicated on last night’s show, the working plan for Grand Slam is Mercedes Mone vs. Harley Cameron.”

What started as a comedic interruption might have actually planted the seeds for a major showdown at one of AEW’s biggest events. If this match does happen, Cameron will have to prove she belongs before stepping into the ring with one of the most dominant champions in the game.
