WWE has reportedly made a major decision regarding the opening segment of the March 16, 2026 episode of Monday Night Raw.
As WWE continues building momentum toward WrestleMania 42, tonight’s Raw from the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas already features a stacked lineup. Roman Reigns is scheduled to appear following CM Punk’s recent comments about his father Sika, while several matches and segments are also planned throughout the show. However, a new report suggests WWE is starting the night with one of its biggest attractions.
According to Bodyslam.net, Brock Lesnar is expected to open tonight’s episode of Raw. The Beast Incarnate last appeared on the February 23 edition of the show alongside Paul Heyman, where he issued an open challenge to anyone in the WWE locker room to face him at WrestleMania.
That challenge has been looming over WWE programming ever since, and fans have been waiting to see which superstar might step up to face Lesnar on the biggest stage of the year.
With Lesnar now set to kick off Raw, tonight’s opening segment could bring some major clarity regarding his WrestleMania plans. Lesnar’s return already carried a lot of intrigue, but starting the show with The Beast Incarnate suggests WWE may be ready to move his WrestleMania storyline forward in a big way. Whether someone answers the challenge tonight or the situation escalates further remains to be seen.
The rest of the Raw lineup includes AJ Lee defending the Women’s Intercontinental Championship against Bayley, Stephanie Vaquer facing Raquel Rodriguez in a non-title match, and the Judgment Day appearing following last week’s fallout involving Finn Balor.
With Lesnar now reportedly opening the show, tonight’s Raw could deliver a major WrestleMania development right from the start. Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of this week’s show over in our WWE Monday Night RAW coverage hub.
