The stage is set for WWE Night of Champions, and now we know exactly who’s kicking things off.

Ringside News has confirmed that today’s premium live event will open with the King of the Ring final between Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton. With a World Title opportunity at SummerSlam on the line, WWE isn’t wasting any time getting straight to one of the most talked-about matches of the night.

Rhodes and Orton have a lot of history together, dating back to their time in Legacy. But tonight, it’s all about the crown—and more importantly, the chance to challenge for gold at one of WWE’s biggest shows of the year.

The rest of the card is stacked with title matches, tournament finals, and a personal grudge match set to close the night when John Cena defends the Undisputed WWE Championship against CM Punk.
