The Royal Rumble is coming up in a few weeks, and the road to that huge show has already started. Now we know our first official entrant in the Men’s Royal Rumble match.

The January 16 episode of WWE SmackDown went down in the OVO Arena Wembley in London, England. This was a big show on Friday, and we had full spoilers of the entire broadcast.

Drew McIntyre already made it clear that Cody Rhodes isn’t getting a rematch for the Undisputed WWE Title. That being said, there are other ways for Cody Rhodes to get to a title shot.

During this week’s SmackDown, Cody Rhodes came out to declare that he is going to be in the 2026 Royal Rumble match. This will see him win a third time, and he’s willing to do it the hard way.

The WWE Royal Rumble is set for Saturday, January 31, 2026, and it’ll be a historic one. The event is heading to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, taking place at the King Abdullah Financial District, and it marks the first time the Royal Rumble will be held outside of North America.
