Spoiler: Closing Match Revealed for August 22 WWE SmackDown

WWE isn’t just opening strong in Dublin—they’re closing the August 22, 2025 episode of SmackDown with a major tag team showdown.

Ringside News has learned that the main event will feature Jade Cargill teaming with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton to take on Raw’s Becky Lynch and Nia Jax.

Earlier in the show, fans will see the return of John Cena in what will be his final appearance in Ireland during his farewell tour. Aleister Black takes on R-Truth in a personal rematch, and the Motor City Machine Guns will face Carmelo Hayes and The Miz. Charlotte Flair is set to wrestle Piper Niven, and The Street Profits will go to battle with two members of MFT.
