Spoiler On Brock Lesnar’s Message For John Cena During 8/22 WWE SmackDown

Brock Lesnar has a message for John Cena.

WWE SmackDown took place on Friday, August 22, 2025, in Dublin, Ireland at the 3Arena. During the closing moments of the show, they included a huge segment.

John Cena was shown walking backstage after the main event women’s tag team match on SmackDown this week. At that point, SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis walked up to him and said, “I just heard from Brock Lesnar.”

At that point, Logan Paul jumped John Cena backstage and laid him out. The message from Brock Lesnar was not given during this episode, but he certainly has something to tell Cena through Nick Aldis.

This segment ended on quite a cliffhanger, and it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next. If Brock Lesnar shows up on August 31 at Clash in Paris, that may create another insanely viral moment. If anything, Cena and Logan Paul’s promo battle during SmackDown this week painted a clear picture that The Maverick will take priority for the 17-time World Champion.

We will have to see when Brock Lesnar wrestles again. His SummerSlam surprise return sent shockwaves through the pro wrestling world. Only time will tell when he and Cena wrestle, but there are limited dates left for Cena’s retirement tour.
