Cody Rhodes is heading to WWE RAW tonight in Anaheim, and the surprise appearance couldn’t come at a more tense time. With a title defense against Drew McIntyre just days away, Rhodes is expected to make his presence felt during tonight’s live show—possibly with a direct message to the Scottish Warrior.

PWInsider confirmed earlier today that Rhodes will be at the October 27, 2025 episode of Monday Night RAW at the Honda Center. What exactly he’ll be doing remains a mystery, but it’s hard to imagine he’ll pass on the chance to address McIntyre ahead of their Undisputed WWE Championship match at Saturday Night’s Main Event on November 1.

Their feud reignited on the October 17 SmackDown in San Jose, where Rhodes—still suited up—stormed the ring and went to war with McIntyre. That fight ended with Rhodes blasting him with the title belt, earning a disqualification and setting the stage for their championship showdown.

What makes tonight’s RAW appearance so interesting is that it wasn’t part of Cody’s previously announced schedule. Back on October 8, Cody Rhodes shared a full graphic on Twitter detailing his official appearances for the month of October. The list included SmackDown events and Crown Jewel in Australia—but there was no mention of RAW on October 27. His posted schedule was as follows:

  • October 10 – WWE SmackDown in Perth, Australia
  • October 11 – Crown Jewel in Perth, Australia
  • October 17 – SmackDown in San Jose, California
  • October 24 – SmackDown in Tempe, Arizona
  • October 31 – SmackDown in Salt Lake City, Utah

Rhodes didn’t say much in the tweet itself, but the schedule graphic clearly laid out his planned appearances. That makes tonight’s RAW a late addition—and all the more important.

Santos Escobar is also set to return on tonight’s RAW, but with Cody now stepping into the mix unannounced, all focus shifts to the Undisputed WWE Champion and what he might have in store.

Will Cody Rhodes deliver a message to Drew McIntyre tonight—or does WWE have something even more unpredictable lined up? Let us know what you think in the comments.
