Another name has entered the conversation for WWE Royal Rumble weekend, and this time, it’s Roxanne Perez.
According to Fightful Select, Perez is in Indianapolis for the event, though it’s unclear whether she will actually compete in the Royal Rumble match or if she’s simply in town for other WWE business.
The former NXT Women’s Champion has been a standout performer on WWE’s developmental brand, and if she does enter the Royal Rumble, it could be the perfect opportunity to elevate her to the main roster. With WWE reportedly stacking the women’s match with potential surprises, her presence only adds to the speculation.
This news follows earlier reports that Stephanie Vaquer has also been discussed for a possible Royal Rumble appearance. While nothing has been confirmed, both names being in the mix suggests WWE is looking at NXT talent and international stars to shake things up this weekend.
With Matt Cardona, Mickie James, Jordynne Grace, and Nikki Bella already spotted in Indianapolis, it’s clear that WWE has plenty of surprises up its sleeve. Whether Perez makes her main roster debut or not, her presence at the event is definitely worth watching.
