WWE is going all out for John Cena’s final match — and one surprising name is now confirmed for the big night: Linda McMahon.
According to PWInsider, Linda McMahon is expected to be in attendance at Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C., where Cena will face GUNTHER in the final match of his career. Her presence marks a rare public appearance for the former WWE executive and political figure, making this farewell all the more special.
Linda’s appearance adds even more weight to what’s already shaping up to be a stacked show. WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is also confirmed for the event, joining a growing list of legends expected to be on hand for Cena’s sendoff.
And the broadcast team is getting a major boost as well. Michael Cole and Wade Barrett will handle commentary duties. Stephanie McMahon is also scheduled to appear on the broadcast, alongside ESPN’s Joe Tessitore and WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura. The addition of both McMahon and Ventura brings a sense of nostalgia and significance to Cena’s final ride.
While one of Cena’s biggest rivals, Randy Orton, may miss the event due to his commitments in Saudi Arabia for the MrBeast Land theme park launch, WWE is clearly packing this show with top-tier names from every era of the company.
Having both Linda and Stephanie McMahon involved sends a strong message — this isn’t just another retirement match. It’s a full-circle moment for one of WWE’s most celebrated icons.
